Hmm..
The LCR website is not so important that it deserves an entire makeover.
I’ve pretty much done my dash with editing & creating shit anyway.
Now I’m gonna concentrate on things that matter.
Like remembering the words to the songs, cos we got a gig coming up on the 8th of August.
And when you think about it, if the only mistake is the wrong pop-up text in one of the boxes on the home page, well so be it.
To be on an outdated platform is fairly wonk as well.
Maybe the National Library will harvest LCR one last time.
Then I can retire.
I’ve done my job.
Then we can close the whole thing down.
Go for a walk with the dog along the beach.
Throw a stick into the surf.
Then I’ll copy & paste this email into the LCR blog, like one last message to my 117 fans & just to be entirely wonk, at the very end, I’ll say “Hi Simon, thanks for everything.”
Then I’ll say, I really mean that.
