Sure is easy to drive a Mack truck right up your own ass with this blog shit. But who cares. I need some momentum. It's not like some new numbskull-cum-artist is knocking my door down, in which case I could shut up. For right or wrong, I'm picking up the slack. So we have to be patient, and persevere in the meantime.
Plus the odd person sends in a comment (invariably unrelated to this website – God knows how they get here) which gives the whole thing an air of pseudo relevance.
On the other hand, I came across a pretty cool video the other day. Ahori Buzz. Right up my street. Apparently the guitarist was in a band called Weta back in the nineties. He's also currently in a band called Cairo Knife Fight. What a guy! I think it would be a good idea if all those messages now streaming into Laughing Cloud Records could redirect themselves his way. Be good if I was rich enough to sign him up!
